M’MEMBE SAYS MORE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS INVOLVED IN SUGILITE SCANDAL

The opposition Socialist Party – SP – says President Hakainde Hichilema’s firing of Luapula Province Minister Derricky Chilundika and his subsequent arrest by the Police for carrying out mining activities without a License raises more questions than it answers.
Speaking in a statement availed to Mafken FM Radio SP Leader Fred M’membe says, it is a well-known fact that there are other key leaders in the New Dawn Administration involved in illegal mineral dealings, especially gold and are doing it with impunity.
Dr M’Membe says President Hichilema should have had sorted out his own issues first, before he went on to fire Chilundika.
The Opposition leader is of the view that, the move was simply done to deceive the people, stating that, the Zambian people are however not fools and are able to see right through the trick.
