Government Refutes Claims That The Corruption Fight Is Targeted At The PF

Ministry Of information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana says contrary to assertions that the corruption fight under the UPND is targeting a select few, government does not target anyone as it implements a corruption policy which means that it targets individuals that are corrupt only.
Speaking on Mafken FM’s Express chitchat review, Mr. Kawana stated that those who feel targeted by the corruption fight are clearly indicating that that they are corrupt and are guilty of engaging in the plundering of national resources.
And Mr. Kawana has refuted that the pursuit for President Edgar Lungu’s Daughter Tasila Lungu is not an indication that the PF are being targeted for corruption.
The PS says there is nothing special about Tasila Lungu as she is just like every ordinary Zambian citizen who is being investigated for various cases.
