RTSA Deploys Officers to Ensure Road Safety During Festive Season m

The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has taken proactive steps to ensure road safety during the festive season by deploying officers on major highways across the country.
This came to light during a Road Safety event in Kitwe.The move aims to enforce traffic laws, prevent road accidents, and promote a safer driving culture.
RTSA Chief Executive Officer and Director Amon Mweemba emphasized the agency’s commitment to raising awareness about road safety in Zambia, particularly during the festive season when there is an increase in road traffic accidents.
Meanwhile, Minister of Transport and Logistics, Frank Tayali, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reducing the number of road accidents and promoting road safety awareness.
