PF Demand Return Of ECL As Party Leader Ahead Of The 2026 General Elections

The Patriotic Front (PF) is calling for the return of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu to lead the country in the 2026 general elections, claiming that the Zambian people have forgiven the party.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka, PF Secretary General Raphael Nakachinda stated that Zambians have moved beyond the “propaganda” of the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) and are calling for a change in leadership.
Mr. Nakachinda emphasized that PF is ready to work with right-minded political parties to democratically remove President Hakainde Hichilema from power.
