Harry Kalaba resigns as DP President

Opposition Democratic Party leader Harry Kalaba has avoided the confusion in the Democratic Party by stepping down as party leader in readiness to form another Party.
Addressing the media yesterday ,Mr. Kalaba says despite resigning from the Democratic Party as party president, he is still confident of winning the 2026 Presidency under a new Party.
Mr. Kalaba says he will not stand by and watch things Deteriorate in the country neither will he let the lengthy Legal process stand in his way of pursuing his course of serving the Zambian people.
He says he is alive to the fact that there are some forces that want to frustrate his efforts thereby arriving at this decision of resigning from the party he has natured from the start to pave way for a new beginning.
