Graft body urged to probe, Teaching Service Commission

The National Action for Quality Education in Zambian NAQEZ is shocked that the Anti -Corruption Commission ACC is unmoved by grave corruption allegations against the Teaching Service Commission.
The allegations have been made by the General Secretary of Professional Teachers Union of Zambian Kangwa Musenga.
Mr. Musenge has accused members of the commission of allegedly pocketing huge sums of money from teachers for promotions and favours.
Mr. Musenga alleged that some officials at the Teaching Service Commission had been asking teachers to pay between 20 and 30 thousand kwacha before they are promoted to positions of District Education Board Secretary DEBS.
NAQEZ Executive Director Aaron Chansa said this in a statement made available to Mafken Radio.
