Patriotic Front PF Secretary General Davies Mwila has written to three Members of Parliament requesting them to exculpate themselves for NOT voting for the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 10 of 2020 last Thursday.

The three MPs who have since been written to include: Elalio Musonda, for Kamfinsa, Frank Ngambi, for Chifubu and Kabaso Kampampi, for Mwansabombwe Constituency respectively.

Mr. Mwila has accused the three lawmakers of abrogating the directive from PF Leader and Republican President Edgar Lungu to vote for the Bill in question.

He has stated that the action exhibited by the three MPs was not in line with the Party’s interest and in breach of Article 74, regulation 29 (d) and (i) of the Party Constitution.

The Members of Parliament have since been issued with exculpatory letters to explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against each one of them.

This is according to a media statement availed to Mafken FM Radio last evening by PF Media Director Sunday Chanda.
