Kantanshi MP Appeals for Expedited Works of the Ronald Ross Hospital Laboratory

Kantanshi Member of Parliament Anthony Mumba has bemoaned the lack of a laboratory at Ronald Ross General Hospital, the largest hospital in Mufulira district, which he says is disrupting quality health care delivery.
Dr. Mumba says it is worrying that each time the ministry of health sends a contractor to do some construction works at the hospital, the works are abandoned mid-way as the contractor tends to leave site.
Speaking in parliament during the questions for oral answer session, Dr. Mumba appealed to the Ministry of health to prioritise funding the construction of a laboratory at Ronald Ross as the hospital houses many patients requiring laboratory services.
And in Response Health Minister Elijah Muchima stated that the ministry already has plans to look into the complexity of Ronald Ross General hospital emphasising that funds are available for construction works under the ministry.
