The Socialist Party on the Copperbelt has raised concerns about the financial capacity of the investors running Mopani and Konkola Copper Mines.
Provincial Party Spokesperson, Reagan Kashinga, claims that the investors lack the necessary financial resources to effectively manage the two mining giants.
In contrast, United Mine Workers Union of Zambia (UMUZ) President, Wisdom Ngwira, has commended President Hakainde Hichilema for implementing policies he believes will create employment opportunities for the majority of Zambians in the mining sector.
