8 Boreholes To Be Drilled Under CDF In Kansuswa To Address Current Water Crisis

Kansuswa Ward Councillor Gift Banda has announced that part of the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) will be allocated towards water and sanitation projects in Kansuswa.
Mr. Banda says that the community is currently facing water shortages as they await the completion of maintenance and system upgrades by Mulonga Water Supply and sanitation Company.
He says to address the immediate water crisis that the community is facing, plans are underway to drill eight boreholes in the area. This initiative aims to provide residents with a reliable water source while awaiting for the local water utility to complete its works.
Mr. Banda has emphasized the importance of ensuring that residents have access to clean water during this challenging period.
