Wild Life Authorities In Mufulira Initiate Search For Crocodile Following Recent Attack On A Man

The National Park and Wildlife Authorities in Mufulira have initiated a search for a crocodile at the Butondo Bridge Known as Mufulira River, in Mufulira District on the Copperbelt province following reports of an attack on a man three days ago.

Wildlife police officer Principal Oscar Kapeta confirmed the presence of the crocodile shortly after receiving the report. He stated that efforts to capture the crocodile are underway.
Meanwhile, Local resident Rosemary Kalyati has urged the government to take action, highlighting the bridge’s importance to schoolchildren traveling to Butondo Secondary School.
