Mufulira Roundabout Still Undergoing Safety Enhancements

Mufulira Mayor Tanaeli Kamanga has clarified that while the Mufulira roundabout may appear complete, additional safety measures are still required before it can be fully operational.
In an exclusive interview with Mafken News, Mr. Kamanga explained that a recent risk assessment revealed key safety concerns that need addressing.
He emphasized the importance of completing the installation of proper lighting, road signage, road markings, pavers, and finishing the drainage system, which he revealed is currently only 50% complete.
The Mayor also confirmed that the Road Development and Safety Agency (RDA) will be returning to the site to oversee the final stages of the project and ensure everything is in place before the roundabout can be reopened to traffic
