Mufulira’s Zimba Compound Residents To Receive Running Water

Kangwa Nsuluka Ward Councilor Martine Chisha has assured residents of Zimba Compound that they will soon receive running water following the on-going water project by Mulonga Water and Sanitation Company in the area.
Mr. Chisha says people in his area have for a long time been facing challenges of water and the project by Mulonga will help in eradicating the challenge.
He adds that water pipes have already been laid and the company is only working on some few installations before the water can finally reach the residents.
Meanwhile, Mr.Chisha has revealed that community boreholes have been installed as a temporary measure using the Constituency Development Fund CDF.
Residents of Zimba have depended on water from shallow wells and local streams for many years.
