Vice President Mutale Nalumango has expressed confidence in the United Party for National Development (UPND)’s performance, stating that government is working hard to meet the nation’s needs and remains focused on delivering for the people.
The Vice President highlighted that Zambians appreciate these efforts and do not seem to be leaning toward a change in government.
Responding to Lumezi Member of Parliament Munir Zulu during the Vice President’s question-and-answer session in Parliament, Mrs Nalumango addressed Mr Zulu’s comparison between Zambia and Botswana’s recent government change, affirming that the UPND feels secure in office.
She expressed confidence that the party is well-positioned to secure a second term in the 2026 general elections.
