ZAWAPA Condemns The Prioritizing Of Foreign Businesses

The Zambia Wake Up Party ZAWAPA has bemoaned the tendency by both past and present Governments of prioritizing foreign businesses at the expense of the local business in driving the Zambian economy.
ZAWAPA President Howard Kunda says this among other reasons is what is killing the economy of Zambia because locals are not being given the opportunity to make various investments.
Mr. Kunda is of the view that there is need to identify genuine local business men and give them the necessary support they need to set up Businesses so that they can in-turn create employment for the Zambian people.
Speaking on Mafken FM’s Political 360 Program, Mr. Kunda argues that putting foreign businesses in the forefront only cripples the economy because much of the forex is being taken outside the country thereby weakening the Kwacha.
