Zambia Marks Day Of Prayer, Fasting And Reconciliation With A Call To Unite

President Hakainde Hichilema has reaffirmed the government’s commitment in working with the church in promoting peace and unity.
Speaking during the National Day of Prayer Fasting and Reconciliation in kitwe district today, Mr. Hichilema firmly stated that, Zambia shall remain a Christian nation as declared by Second Republican President Dr. Frederick Chiluba.
Speaking at the same event, Former Vice President Dr. Nevers Mumba explained the importance of this day amidst the drought challenge the country is faced with.
Meanwhile in his homily message, Life Gospel Ministries International General Overseer Bishop Joseph Kazhila Implored the church mother bodies to pray for the leaders.
