The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency-ZAMMSA has implored health facilities across the country to order more intravenous Iv fluids as the agency has more than enough stock in preparedness for any rain season related cases such as cholera and diarrhoea.

ZAMMSA Senior manager corporate communications Bradley Chingobe says all facilities should take advantage of the stock availability and place their orders promptly.

Mr. Chingobe tells Mafken News that this will ensure that facilities have enough supply and avert any disruptions in treatment efforts.

He says the agency placed with aim of ensuring adequate supply of medicines, has enough stock of Iv fluids that will go a long way in bolstering health care serves across the nation as Iv fluids play a significant role in the medication of patients who are severely hydrated.
