Education Minister Expresses Admiration For Teachers Ahead of World Teachers’ Day

Education Minister Douglas Syakalima has reiterated the importance of teachers in society.
The Education Minister has said any other profession is moulded by a Teacher.
He said this therefore makes the Teacher an important and unavoidable catalyst in the making of all professions.
Mr. Syakalima was speaking ahead of the 5th October 2024 World Teachers’ Day whose theme is “Valuing Teacher voices: Towards a new social contract for Education.”
And Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary – Education Services Joel Kamoko has urged teachers to use the privileged voice to counter negative vices in society.
