UNIP President Describes Current Crop of Politicians As Materialistic

The opposition United Independent National Party (UNIP) President Colonel Henry Muyoba says the current crop of politicians in Zambia are money oriented.
Colonel Muyoba says politicians need to have a heart for the vulnerable people if they aspire for higher political positions.
He has told Mafken TV in Lusaka that politicians should work towards emulating the principals that first and late republican president Dr. Kenneth Kaunda laid in governing the nation to prosperity.
Colonel Muyoba notes that if those who took after Dr. Kaunda had maintained the same trajectory, Zambia would not have been faced with many economic hardship like is the case now.
