Kabuswe Lauds Government’s Commitment to Copperbelt Road Infrastructure

Minister of Mines and Mineral Development, Paul Kabuswe, has commended government for its ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure in the Copperbelt Province.

Speaking in Kitwe, Mr. Kabuswe highlighted the importance of quality roads in achieving the government’s ambitious target of producing 30 million tonnes of copper by 2030.

He noted that efficient road networks would be crucial for transporting materials and ensuring the province is well-prepared to support increased mining activities.

He further emphasized that the revitalization of the mining sector has already triggered significant economic activity in the Province. 

The minister also reassured that government is ready to handle the increased pressure that will come with the sector’s revitalization.
