Mufulira Community Groups Trained on Budget Accountability Ahead of 2025 National Budget

Multiple Community Budget Groups in Mufulira District ON THE Copperbelt Province have gathered for a training workshop on budget tracking and social accountability.
The workshop organized by the Non-Governmental Gender Organizations Coordinating Council (NGOCC), Zambia Council for Social Development, OXFAM and the European Union.
The workshop aims to equip local residents with knowledge about budget allocations and empower them to hold government accountable.
The Zambia Council for Social Development Programs Manager Zebbies Mumba, explains that this initiative has been done for the past 3 years and has contributed to the equipping of community members with the right information on the importance of their participation in governance.
