Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Technology and Science Mr. Victor Kachabe has urged members of staff and members of the Integrity Committee to report any alleged cases of corruption in the Ministry.

Mr. Kachabe says failure to report any corruption cases is also corruption itself as someone can be accused of abetting the crime.

Speaking when he addressed members of the Integrity Committee in the Ministry of Technology and Science in Lusaka during their orientation, Mr. Kachabe said the Integrity Committee must lead by example by promoting best practices in utilising government funds and operations.

Mr. Kachabe says the orientation aims at promoting best practices in public procurement and stores, while enhancing human resources Practices and procedures.

He added that the training will also strengthen accounting officers and audit staff to uphold overall fiscal discipline and improve operational efficiency.
