UNIP Opposes Proposed Constitutional Amendments

The Opposition United National Independent Part (UNIP) has objected to any manoeuvres aimed at amending the constitution.
Party Deputy National Spokesperson Reverend Danny Mwima says president Hakainde Hichileme proposals to amend some clauses in the constitution are ill-timed.
He has told Mafken News in Lusaka that his part will fight tooth and nail to see to it that the current regime does not succeed in amending the republican constitution.
He further stated that the current Zambia condition is enough and acceptable by all Zambians and that it should not be tempered with
