Allocation Of Play Parks As Residential Plots Saddens Mufulira Community

Former Mufulira District Mayor Andrew Msiska is saddened that almost all Children’s play parks in the district have been allocated as residential and business plots.

Mr. Msiska says it is saddening to see that Children will have nowhere to play from in the near future because all play parks are being given out for other commercial uses.

He says it is important for parents and the local authority to understand that children need various activities that prevent them from indulging in unpleasant behaviours such as drug abuse among others.

The former Mayor has since called on the local authority of Mufulira and all civic leaders to ensure that places meant for parks and fire assembly points are rehabilitated and given a new face in order for the children to make use of them.
