MUFULIRA COUNCIL ACQUIRES SKIP TRUCK AT K1.53 MILLION

The Mufulira Municipal Council has announced the acquisition of a skip truck valued at K 1.53 million Zambian kwacha.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Mafken FM radio, Council Assistant Public Relations Manager Thandiwe Tembo says the strategic investment is aimed at enhancing waste management in the District.
Ms. Tembo further discloses that the truck will be put into operation after necessary insurance and registration procedures are completed.
Last year, Kantanshi, Kankoyo, and Mufulira Central constituencies collaborated to utilise part of the Constituency Development Fund –CDF- to procure 15 skip bins, intended for areas with high waste generation.
