HH APPOINTS FIC, HRC BOARDS

President Hakainde Hichilema has appointed the Board for the Financial Intelligence Centre -FIC- and Board Chairperson and Commissioners for the Human Rights Commission Board.
The FIC Board will be led by Dinde Simacheche with Sydney Chisanga as his Vice.
Others appointed to the FIC Board are Emmanuel Sakala, Augustine Hamwela and Diana Bunting.
State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka says the appointments have been done in line with Section 7 of the FIC Act.
Mr. Hamasaka says the President has also appointed Pamela Sambo as Human Rights Commission Chairperson and Felixity Kalunga as Deputy Chairperson.
Panic Chilufya and Father Joe Komakoma have also been appointed Commissioners on the Human Rights Board all subject to parliamentary ratification.
And Mr. Hamasaka says President Hichilema has also appointed Tommy Namitondo as a Commissioner on the Anti-Corruption Commission Board subject to parliamentary ratification.
He says the President is confident that the appointees will serve the country with distinction and wished them well.
