POLICE INSTITUTE INVESTIGATIONS INTO ALLEGED ASSAULT ON A PHOTOJOURNALIST

Police in Lusaka have instituted investigations into an alleged assault on Photojournalist Henry Chunza by two Members of Parliament.
Mr. Chunza is alleged to have been assaulted by Chiengi Member of Parliament Given Katuta and Chawama Member of Parliament Tasila Lungu.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says the alleged attack on Mr. Chunza of Times of Zambia occurred inside Parliament buildings after Ms. Katuta was suspended and asked to leave the House.
In a statement availed to Mafken FM radio, Mr. Hamoonga says Mr. Chunza was attempting to capture a picture of Ms. Katuta as she was leaving the house, but she allegedly spat on him.
