MOPANI CONTRACTORS BEMOAN LACK OF PAYMENT

Over fifteen contractors and suppliers contracted by Mopani Copper Mines have bemoaned lack of payments.
The firms have told mafken Fm Radio that scores of employees are being sent home due to Mopani’s failure to settle outstanding debt to contractors.
In a statement availed to Diamond News, Mopani Copper Mines has confirmed that it is owing suppliers and contractors.
The financially troubled mining firm has urged contractors and suppliers to exercise patience.
