MCM employees paid second installment of accrued benefits

Mopani copper mines employees on the copper belt have today November 18,2021 received the second installments of accrued benefits.

Confirming the development, United Mine Union of Zambia Secretary General Victor Nyirongo has thanked the government for intervening into the matter and ensuring that miners are paid.

Speaking in an interview with Mafken FM radio today, Mr. Nyirongo has sounded a stern warning to MCM management to plan ahead of the next installment so that what has happened does not repeat itself
