VJ speaks out on third term debate

Veteran Politician Vernon Mwaanga says the constitution of the Republic of Zambia, is not and should not be treated as a political party document.

Dr. Mwaanga says the constitution is supposed to be a sacrosanct document, which should not be tinkered with at will anyhow.

Dr. Mwaanga has bemoaned that because of selfish egos and appetite, some people want to overstay in power.

Dr. Mwaanga who seldom speaks to the media said this in a rare press release to Mafken FM Radio today.

The remarks from the accomplished diplomat come in the wake of the third term bid that some pf members have been pushing for President Edgar Lungu
