Government to Extend FISP E-Voucher Input distribution to All Districts Country Wide

Government has announced that it will extend the FISP E-Voucher Input distribution system to all corners of the country from the 74 districts where it was exercised in the last 2024 – 2025 farming season.

 

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka yesterday, government Chief Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says government has noted that the E-Voucher input distribution system is cost effective and allows it to serve resources to use for other needs.

He adds that the system is also encouraging local businesses that are supplying the inputs farmers under FISP.

 

Mr. Mweetwa has also announced that government will not reduce the number of beneficiaries under the Farmers Input Support Program-FISP in the forthcoming 2025 – 2026 farming season.
