The comments come after some sections of society called on the police to investigate the offensive remarks that were made by UPND consultant Mark Simuwe on former president Edgar Lungu.

Speaker ignored court document, we have a constitutional crisis – Chisanga – Zambia: News Diggers!

But Mr Chisanga says instead of having Mr. Simuwe arrested, the UPND has given him a promotion to one of the senior most positions within the structures of the UPND which entails that the concerns raised have been scoffed.

Addressing the Media, Mr. Chisanga says a rise in state of serious crimes is taking place because the police are chasing petty crimes such as investigating PF members instead of chasing real day time crime.

He has accused the police of not paying attention to where the criminality is taking place but merely focusing on clearing the political scene to pave way for the UPND’s victory.
