Mufulira’s Mukuba Secondary School Expands Enrolment Amid Ongoing Constructions

Mufulira central constituency Mutundu ward councillor Tsindikai Mudemba has announced that Mukuba Secondary School which is still under construction, began recruiting Grade 10 students last year and has welcomed more pupils this year.

 

Mr. Mudemba noted that many students travel long distances and have to find temporary housing during school days with some sharing a single mattress.

The Situation has prompted the civic leader to donate ten mattresses to improve the living conditions of the pupils.

 

He is calling on well-wishers in Mufulira District to support the students by helping them access essential services. 

 

Additionally, Mr. Mudemba says Funds have been set aside under the 2025 Constituency Development Fund for the construction of a 2 by 40-bed boarding facility, to transform Mukuba Secondary School into a fully operational boarding school.
