Mufulira’s Zimba Residents Demand Opening Of Maternity Annex At Luonsobe Clinic

Residents of Zimba Compound in Mufulira District have called on the government to open the newly constructed maternity annex at Luansobe clinic.
The residents have wondered why the facility has not been opened when all works have been completed.
One of the residents, Brenda Kamfwa says expectant mothers have continued facing challenges to access maternal services due to lack of a maternity wing in the area.
She adds that expectant mothers are covering long distances to access the facility when there is one that is complete within the area.
