BETUZ Calls For More Funding Towards The Education Sector

The Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia (BETUZ) says there is need for adequate funding towards the education system for it to edquately deliver its mandates.
BETUZ general secretary Henry Sinkala says the transformative power of education to learners and society must be taken seriously by government and all statkeholders.
He was speaking in Lusaka during the launch of the Tax-Ed Alliance and Go Public Fund Education.
And speaking at the same occasion, Education Minister Douglas Syakalima said achieving education for all is still a challenge but pledged governments’ committement to making it a reality.
