BETUZ Urges Government To Construct Modern Teacher Houses In Rural Areas

The Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia (BETUZ) has urged government to build modern houses for teachers in rural and remote areas to improve education quality.
In an interview with Mafken News in Lusaka ,BETUZ Public and International Relations Director Obby Michael Chisala emphasized the need for quality housing to restore dignity to the teaching profession.
He stressed that doing so will make rural and remote areas more attractive for teachers and that it help motivate them and improve the quality of education. He adds that improved living conditions will motivate teachers and enhance education quality.
