NUPPEZ Forges Partnerships to Boost Education in Copperbelt Province

The National Union of Public and Private Education of Zambia (NUPPEZ) on the Copperbelt province has announced new partnerships aimed at supporting teachers and improving education in the region.

Speaking in an interview with Mafken news in Kitwe, NUPPEZ Copperbelt Provincial Chairperson Agent Munkombwe revealed that, the union has signed a partnership with Likili Motorways to provide discounted transportation services to its members. 

 

Mr. Munkombwe says this partnership is expected to enable teachers to travel more affordably, both within and outside the province.

Improving Access to Education in Sub-Saharan Africa - BORGEN

Mr. Munkombwe has further disclosed that, NUPPEZ has also partnered with the National Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA) to address the issue of teacher indebtedness, which aims to provide relief to teachers who are struggling with debt, by waving off some of their loans.
