Father On The Run For Defiling His Step Daughter

A 24 year old man Vinamu Kuyela of Twapia Township in Ndola district on the Copperbelt is on the ran after sexually abusing his 2 year 2 months old step daughter.
Copperbelt police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba says the Incident occurred on December 21 between 21 hours and 23 hours and was reported to Police by the baby’s grandmother.
Brief facts are that the victim’s mother who is aged 19 on December 21 at about 21:00 hours, left the victim in custody of her husband and went to the market to make some mobile transactions.
Mr. Mweemba explains that while in her absence, the stepfather took advantage to defile the toddler. She sustained a swollen vagina and bleeding from the vagina.
He says a Medical report has been issued to the victim and docket of case opened but no arrest has been made as the assailant is at large. Meanwhile, the victim is currently admitted to Arthur Davies Children hospital.
