Mufulira Residents Concerned Over Safety At Mufulira River Bridge Following Crocodile Attack

A concerned resident of Mufulira  Henry Kamalata, has urged the public to stay away from the Butondo Bridge, also known as Mufulira River, following a recent crocodile attack. This incident, which involved a man in his early twenties, is not the first of its kind in the area.

The victim was quickly rescued and taken to Ronald Ross Hospital for treatment. But Mr. Kamalata has called on local authorities and community members to prioritize safety measures to prevent further incidents. 

 

During a visit to the scene by the Mafken crew, Mr. Kamalata emphasized the need for increased vigilance and protective measures around the river.

He has expressed hope that both residents and officials would work together to ensure the safety of everyone in the community.
