The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia ( NAQEZ) is demanding for presidential sanctions against any government officials at the Ministry of Education who participated in the procurement of the condemned M.SAT.
NAQEZ Executive Director Aron Chansa says it is sad to see the Ministry of Education before the Parliamentary Accounts Committee PAC, failing to account for millions of Kwachas which were illegally spend on a fake E- census software, M.SAT.
Dr. Chansa says School grants are critical in running various educational activities in the country therefore anyone found abusing these funds becomes a serious enemy of the people of Zambia.
He has since urged the President to take action against anyone who was involved in this issue as a way of demonstrating government’s attachment to education and the desire to protect public funds.
