Government To Commence Construction Of New Airports In Choma and Kasaba Bay

Construction of new Airports in Choma and Kasaba Bay in Nsama district will soon commence.
These developments follows the completion of rehabilitation works at three airports in Mongu, Solwezi and Chipata.
This has been announced by Transport and Logistics Minister Frank Tayali in a speech read on his behalf by Director Transport Nkumbu Siame during the 80th International Civil Aviation Day celebrations in Lusaka.
The minister further stressed the need for a balance between safety and innovation in the aviation sector to reduce negative environmental impacts.
Speaking earlier, Civil Aviation Authority Board Chairperson Patrick Nkhoma emphasized the need for the authority to establish a service charter in order enhance service delivery.
