Eight Gang Members of The Notorious Ba 90 Group Arrested In Ndola

Eight Gang Members of The Notorious Ba 90 Group in Ndola who have been behind the attacks on members of the public within Kaloko Compound and Jacaranda Villa in Ndola have been arrested.

The arrest follows a tip off by a concerned member of the public who informed the  Police that two People suspected to be members of the notorious 90 gang group were seen selling a suspected stolen phone at Kaloko Market. 

 

Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba says Police rushed to Kaloko Market where two male Suspects were apprehended and a Tecno pop 8 and an iPhone grey in colour were recovered from them. 

Mr. Mweemba explains that after interrogating the two, the duo were identified as Innocent Mwansa nicknamed Eminem and Douglas Kalunga nicknamed Debeby and they revealed to the Police that they are members of the gang.

 

Police furthered investigations and on Saturday December 7, 2024 between 02 hours and 04 hours, the two suspects in custody led the Police to the apprehension of the other six gang members.

 

Mr. Mweemba says the eight will be charged with various offences ranging from assault, theft from person and aggravated robbery.
