The United Party for National Development UPND Alliance Council of Presidents secretary Kaluba Simuyemba has charged that the UPND is not as popular as they were three years down the lines.

Mr. Simuyemba who is also Movement for Change and equality leader says his party has had 3 months of survey from July to September and the survey has proved that UPND has lost popularity among the Zambian people.

He has cited the increased cost of living among them the increase in fuel, mealliemeal, and electricity prices saying these are the same thigs they held the PF accountable for ad these are the same promises they have failed to fulfil.

Speaking on Mafken FM’s political 360 program, Mr. Simuyemba stated that governance is about delivery of promises and the UPND must ensure that they fulfil their promises or risk losing the 2026 elections due to their unpopularity.
