Kitwe’s Ipusukilo Maternity Wing Nears Completion

Kitwe’s Ipusukilo Ward Councillor, Evan Swaba, has expressed optimism that the level one maternity wing at Ideco Clinic will be commissioned before the end of this year.
In an interview with Mafken News, Mr Swaba emphasized the facility’s significance, noting that once operational, it will offer much-needed 24-hour maternity services to the local community.
The maternity wing construction is complete, with only solar and interior equipment installations remaining before it can officially open its doors.
Recently, Kwacha Member of Parliament, Charles Mulenga, toured the facility to assess the progress made, highlighting the importance of timely project completion for community benefit.
