Kankoyo MP Reports Progress on Mindela Bridge

Kankoyo Member of Parliament Heartson Mabeta has announced progress on the bridge being constructed by the Zambia National Service (ZNS) in the Mindela farming block of his constituency.
In an exclusive interview with Mafken News, Mr. Mabeta stated that the bridge is being funded by the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a total cost of 2.2 million kwacha, is located over the Mindela stream.
He emphasized that the project aims to reduce the travel distance between Kankoyo and the Kasumbela market.
The Kankoyo lawmaker expects the bridge’s construction to be completed by the end of November this year. Additionally, he indicated that grading of the road leading to the bridge will commence before the harvesting season.
