Emotional Tributes Mark 10th Memorial Service for Late President Michael Sata

The 10th memorial service for the late fifth Republican President Michael Sata was held at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka, drawing family members, President Hakainde Hichilema, politicians, and members of the public to honor his memory.
In his address, President Hichilema reflected on Mr. Sata’s enduring legacy, urging attendees to emulate the late President’s commitment to the country’s economic development.
Mr Hichilema expressed regret that divisive statements had emerged from some sections of society in relation to the memorial ceremony.
Former First Lady Dr. Christine Kaseba also shared her sentiments, describing her late husband as a man of great ambition and a sense of urgency regarding national issues.
