Zambia Honours Independence Heroes at 60th Anniversary

Zambia has remembered departed heroes and heroines who struggled and fought for the country’s independence.

This was during celebrations to mark Zambia at 60 years of independence in Lusaka.

And President Hakainde Hichilema led Defence Chiefs, members of the Diplomatic Corps and citizens in laying wreaths at the Freedom Statue.

And Freedom fighters talked to by Mafken News reflected on the current challenges faced by the country.
