Government Rubbishes Assertions That ECL Was Attacked By UPND Cadres In Chingola

Government has refuted assertions that former Republican President Edgar Lungu, was attacked by UPND carders in Chingola over the weekend.

During the burial of the Kambwili brothers in Chingola, reports emerged that the former president was chased out town by UPND cadres.

But information permanent secretary Thabo Kawana has rubbished the reports stating that they are a total fabrication

He has told the media briefing in Lusaka that it is instead police who stopped Mr Lungu from visiting markets and other and diverting into other programs after the church service.
