Chililabombwe Mayor Concerned Over Indiscriminate Garbage Disposal

Chililabombwe Mayor Lucky Sichone has expressed concerns at the indiscriminate dumping of waste disposal by residents along the key international road in town.

Mr. Sichone says the practice is rampant and that the local authority is currently sensitising residents to throw waste in designated areas.

He has told Mafken News in Lusaka that it is regrettable that one life was recently lost when a minor was sent to throw garbage and in the process got bashed on the busy international road.

Mr. Sichone has urged residents to exercise responsibility by throwing waste in designated areas in order to keep the town clean.
