VEEP Reaffirms Commitment to Food Security

Zambia joined the global community in commemorating World Food Day, under the theme “Right to Foods for a Better Life and a Better Future.”
The day serves as a reminder of the critical role that access to healthy, nutritious food plays in ensuring the well-being of individuals and the development of our communities.
And gracing the occasion, vice president Mutale Nalumango said government is commitmented to implementing policies and initiatives that promote better access to nutritious, safe, and affordable food for everyone, especially the most vulnerable.
